Job Summary
Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both retail and trade markets. A permanent position (full time or part time) is available in the Rockhampton, QLD store.
Responsibilities
* Providing an exemplary customer experience to both retail and trade customers.
* Tinting and mixing paint, and providing colour advice.
* Following the "Inspirations Way".
* Providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge in the areas of paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandising.
* Store presentation, stock management, and housekeeping.
* Adhering to Workplace Health & Safety.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience within the paint industry is essential.
* Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects, industrial, automotive, or paint/hardware industries is an advantage.
* Experience or background in sales and/or customer service with a paint specialist or in a hardware environment would be advantageous.
* Practical experience in home improvement projects desirable.
* Experience with automotive and industrial paints.Ability to problem solve using advanced communication skills.
* Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
* Ability to contribute and work in a small team environment.
* Full current driver's licence (no restrictions).
* Basic computer skills.
* Forklift licence would be an advantage.
* Available to work Saturdays on a rotating roster.
Work Hours & Conditions
Store hours are 6:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 1:00pm Saturday. The store is not open on Sundays or public holidays. Employees will be required to work within these hours on a weekly roster, with some flexibility and rotation on Saturdays. This role involves frequent heavy lifting up to 25kg and can be physically demanding.
