We're partnering with a well established, Australian owned manufacturer in the construction sector, known for delivering high quality solutions. With strong national growth and a solid reputation, the business is now investing in a dedicated Business Development Manager for NSW.
This is a high impact role you will be the driving force behind new business growth across the state.
The Role
This is not an account management position. You will take ownership of new business development across NSW, identifying and converting opportunities across residential builders, trade networks, resellers, and selected light commercial projects. While there is some existing activity in the market, your focus will be on creating opportunities, building pipeline, and winning new customers. You'll be supported by internal sales and operations, allowing you to stay focused on growth and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business acquisition across the NSW market
* Identify and target builders, developers, resellers, and trade channels
* Build and execute a clear territory growth strategy
* Generate and manage a strong sales pipeline
* Convert opportunities into long term, repeat business
* Work closely with internal teams to deliver strong customer outcomes
* Maintain visibility of activity, pipeline, and performance
About You
* Proven success in a BDM / hunter sales role
* Experience selling into construction, building materials, or related B2B sectors
* Strong track record of prospecting, winning new business, and closing deals
* Commercially astute with a proactive, self driven approach
* Confident operating in a field based, autonomous role
* Able to build credibility with stakeholders across builders, trades, and project teams
