About the role
Provide a professional and effective level of administration support for the Vocational Education and Training office located on the Sydney campus.
The position works in collaboration with Academic and Professional colleagues across the University and reports to the CEO and Director of Vocational Education and Training.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and Director of VET, including diary coordination, scheduling of meetings and committees, agenda drafting, minutes, action plans and follow-up.
Coordinate and manage all travel and accommodation arrangements.
Administer all files, templates and reporting for the office, assist in compilation and production of reports, submissions, statistical summaries, data sets, discussion papers and other correspondence.
Assist in management of finance reporting and administration for VET.
Qualifications, skills & experience
Experience delivering high-level executive administrative support (experience in Vocational Education and Training (VET) or higher education preferable but not essential).
Demonstrated time management skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, organise workload, and manage competing priorities/deadlines.
Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with senior leaders and collaborate across multifunctional teams, providing high-level responsive service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn computer software programs and work with enterprise systems.
Proven record of preparing high-quality documentation with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Relevant experience, an administration qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
