About the Role
The University of Southern Queensland Residential Colleges are seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaner to join our team on a casual basis. This is a temporary position from December to February to support our end-of-year cleaning period.
As a Cleaner you will
Perform routine and detailed cleaning of student residential areas, bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and offices
Replenish supplies and report maintenance issues as required
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation
Work independently and as part of a supportive team
Requirements
Minimum of 12 months professional cleaning experience (residential or commercial)
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures
Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Having a Blue Card would be a bonus.
