About the Role
Sunshine Coast Radiology is seeking a motivated and experienced Sonographer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Sonographer and perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including breast, general, musculoskeletal, vascular, obstetrics and gynaecology, within a fast‐paced, patient‐focused environment. You will work alongside highly skilled and supportive radiologists, O&G sonologists, sonographers and administrative staff across 13 clinics spanning Caloundra to Cooroy, including two hospital sites and a new clinic opening at Maroochy Private Hospital in 2026.

Responsibilities
* Conduct a variety of scans, including general, musculoskeletal, vascular, obstetrics and gynaecological studies
* Work across hospital and private clinic settings, including a state‐of‐the‐art breast imaging clinic where applicable
* Participate in on‐call work as required
* Collaborate closely with radiologists and colleagues to provide high‐quality imaging services
* Ensure examination rooms are restocked, cleaned and patients are finalised
About You
* Bachelor of Medical Sonography, Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Ultrasound with current registration with ASAR
* Ideally 2+ years of postgraduate ultrasound experience, with competencies across breast, general, obstetrics, vascular and a keen interest in musculoskeletal imaging
* Prepared to participate in a rotating weekend on‐call roster between 5pm and 8am
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Willingness to engage in further education and ongoing professional development programmes
* Experience with Canon equipment is ideal
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people both internally and externally
* Focused on providing consistently high‐level, patient‐centred healthcare
