About the Role
* Pay rate from $68 - $72 per hour + $0.47 industry allowance
* 9 day fortnight – 76 hours worked (Monday – Thursday 06:30-15:30 and Fridays 06:30-15:00, with every second Friday being a rest day)
* Overtime and shifts other than dayshift are available only on an opportunity basis
* Opportunity to work with leading defence contractors
Key Requirements
* Extensive mechanical maintenance experience within defence, marine, mining, or industrial maintenance sectors
* Trade‐qualified mechanical fitter
* White Card
* Current confined space ticket (within 2 years)
* Australian citizenship (Australian passport, birth certificate or citizenship certificate)
* Current National Police Clearance (within 3 months) or willingness to obtain one
* Fit for work pre‐employment medical, including regular drug and alcohol screening
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport
