As the Investment Operations Analyst – Performance, you'll play a crucial role in delivering independent investment performance reporting and attribution analysis.
You'll work directly with investment management and execution teams to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
In this role you will be a subject‑matter expert in investment performance and deliver impactful performance insights across portfolios, asset classes and investment options that will be integrated into the development of investment strategy.
You will develop and maintain performance measurement and attribution models and ensure the accuracy and integrity of performance databases.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with investment managers on investment reviews and investment committee presentations, and contribute to system and reporting improvement initiatives.
About You
Some experience in investment performance analysis and reporting and an understanding of attribution models and methodologies, including fixed‑income attribution, is essential.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for superannuation fund investment reporting and working knowledge of complex financial instruments and their performance measurement are required.
Core technical skills include proficiency with investment platforms such as SimCorp, Bloomberg, FactSet, basic SQL and Python, and experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, and an in‑depth understanding of superannuation investment structures are also required.
