Established in 1972, this non-profit organisation brings together members from various karate styles and associations across South Australia. It serves as the governing body for karate in the state, overseeing the development of athletes, coaches, and officials while facilitating local competitions and pathways to state and national events. In 2025, it will proudly host the National Championships for the first time in a decade, providing an exciting opportunity to showcase talent and strengthen the sport within the community.
Training provided & learning outcomes to be achieved
This opportunity will support the planning and delivery of a national sporting championship set to take place in Adelaide in July 2025. It will involve collaboration with the event's executive team and organising committee, focusing on key aspects such as venue coordination, ticketing, transport logistics, marketing, volunteer and official recruitment, sponsorship and grants, and social media engagement.
Additionally, support for high-performance teams may include assisting coaching staff with training schedules, logistics, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and mental preparation.
