The Opportunity

As a Wardsperson, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our hospital running safely and efficiently. You’ll support patients, assist clinical teams, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all. Your compassion, professionalism, and dedication will make a positive difference to patients, staff, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with patient comfort and hygiene
- Safely transport patients between wards, theatres, and imaging using wheelchairs or beds.
- Move equipment and supplies across hospital departments
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies
- Help maintain a safe, proactive hospital environment by following best practices
- Work flexibly as part of a 24/7 rotating roster
