Hope Island Vet, one of the AEA practices, is a busy, community‐focused GP clinic where teamwork, quality care, and consistency are at the centre of everything we do. You will be part of a supportive, down‐to‐earth team who take pride in delivering great outcomes for patients and building strong relationships with clients.

Your day‐to‐day
* Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting with procedures
* Managing end‐to‐end patient care (admission → recovery → discharge)
* Collecting samples + running in‐house pathology
* Supporting consults and routine procedures
* Triaging patients (including occasional wildlife)
* Delivering great care and building strong client relationships
What You'll Bring
* Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (essential)
* 1–2+ years' experience in a GP clinic
* Confidence working both independently and within a team
* Solid clinical nursing skills + strong animal handling
* Great communication and a calm, adaptable approach
* Reliable, organised, and comfortable in a busy environment
* IDEXX + EzyVet experience a bonus, not a must.
