About the role
We are seeking an experienced, skilled Cook to join our talented team at an Indian Restaurant in South Townsville, Queensland. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, delicious meals to our customers in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and benefits.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing, cooking and plating a variety of dishes to our customers\' orders with speed and precision
2. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
3. Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
4. Assisting with menu planning and development to enhance the customer dining experience
5. Providing a high level of customer service and contributing to a positive work culture
What we\'re looking for
6. Minimum 12 months of experience as a Cook, preferably within a hospitality or food service environment
7. Strong working knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
8. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen
9. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
11. A passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
