We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Grade 1 or 2 Social Worker / Generalist Counsellor to provide high‐quality assessment, counselling and social work support to individuals and families across the Yarrawonga and Mulwala communities. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work across community health, acute hospital and residential aged care settings within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
About the Role
In this diverse and rewarding position, you will:
* Provide evidence‐based counselling, assessment and case management services across the lifespan
* Support clients experiencing a broad range of social, emotional and life challenges
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across community, acute and aged care services
* Contribute to staff wellbeing initiatives and organisational committees
* Participate in quality improvement, education and service development activities
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support best practice care delivery

About You
You will bring:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Welfare Work or Counselling
* Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or equivalent
* Experience delivering assessment, counselling and casework services
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach
* Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* A commitment to evidence‐based practice and continuous professional development
Experience across community health, hospital or aged care settings will be highly regarded.
