We're now seeking an experienced
to join their South Yarra team. This is a great opportunity to step into a key role where your expertise will directly influence the success of exciting new projects in 2025 and beyond.
About the role:
In this role, you'll be responsible for the full estimating process – from interpreting plans and preparing take-offs to sourcing competitive pricing and presenting accurate quotes. You'll work closely with project managers, site teams, and consultants to ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing architectural and engineering plans to define project scope
* Preparing accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for labour, materials, and subcontractors
* Sourcing and comparing supplier/subcontractor pricing
* Assisting in tender submissions and pricing strategies
* Monitoring budgets and tracking cost changes throughout projects
What we're looking for:
* Proficiency in CostX, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar estimating software
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry pricing
* Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
* Formal training in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (advantageous)
