Rotational Clinical Pharmacist – Candino CA
Are you a registered pharmacist looking for your next challenge in an acute hospital trust? We are looking for enthusiastic pharmacists to join our modern purpose‑built facilities at ESNEFT, Ipswich Hospital, with the opportunity to work across to Colchester Hospital to broaden your experience.
Our clinical team is extensive, with ward‑based pharmacy teams working across a broad range of specialties. You will rotate between areas and work closely with multi‑disciplinary teams, senior colleagues and pharmacy technicians to provide a safe and efficient service to patients.
About Our Pharmacy Service
You will participate in audits of prescribing practice and drug usage, contribute to the development of our service and the Trust's Medicines Optimisation Strategy, and support a patient‑centred approach to medicines management. Your role will include daily ward visits, patient counselling, incident reporting, and involvement in out‑of‑hours and 7‑day pharmacy service.
As part of your ongoing development, you will take part in the Structured Training and Education Programme (STEP) and may study for a postgraduate clinical diploma and a non‑medical prescribing qualification.
