Overview
Clark Rubber Halls Head is looking for a vibrant Retail Sales Assistant with strong experience in a customer service based role. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a friendly personality, as well as high attention to detail, excellent computer skills, and at least 2 years experience in customer service.
You will also need to have a good level of maths ability and be a quick learner, as this is a fast paced retail environment with a lot of product knowledge to learn. The right person for this role will enjoy being hands on and be comfortable with some heavy lifting.
This is a temporary casual position starting from now until the end of January 2026, at approximately 20 hours per week, increasing as it gets closer to Christmas.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Assist customers with product knowledge and recommendations.
- Handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems accurately.
- Maintain store appearance and stock integrity; assist with some heavy lifting as required.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company values.
- Availability for a casual, temporary role approximately 20 hours per week, with increased hours near Christmas.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and a friendly personality.
- High attention to detail, excellent computer skills, and at least 2 years in a customer service role.
- Good level of maths ability and a quick learner.
- Comfortable with some heavy lifting and hands-on work.
- Previous experience in retail is preferred.
