Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in poultry farm management or assistant management/supervisor role
Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams are essential.
Understanding of animal welfare and biosecurity protocols is required.
Physical fitness and comfort with hands-on farm work are necessary.
Strong time management and problem-solving skills are also required.
Basic computer skills and ability to maintain records are expected.
Ability to follow RSPCA and WHS protocols is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for farm management with the highest priority being the welfare of the chickens.
You will ensure the facilities are maintained to the highest standard and the site is always immaculately presented.
The business operates efficiently to deliver agreed performance targets.
Duties include monitoring and reporting, creating an environment that drives continuous improvement, ensuring biosecurity and health and safety procedures are prioritized, using best practice techniques to optimize bird growing requirements, maintaining and presenting the farm to the highest standards possible, training, motivating and leading the farming team, and application requirements including having the right to work in Australia and no sponsorship applications will be viewed.
