Role
Deliver and oversee capital project delivery within Northern Australia Operations. Safety and efficiently deliver budgeted capital project portfolio to meet business objectives.
Role Responsibilities
* Act as direct line manager to nominated Project Managers within Mechanical Discipline.
* Promote best‑in‑class safety and performance culture for the Project Team.
* Ensure Projects Team is familiar, competent, and efficient in applying the Southern Cross Fertilizers Project Management Systems (PMS) framework, including the onboarding / training of new personnel to Projects group.
* Develop and apply leader standard work (LSW) to ensure reports are operating according to defined project manager standard work (SW).
* Maintain effective working relationships with NAO Project peers and key site stakeholders.
* Provide leadership and guidance on project HS&E and risk management processes providing for incident and injury free project delivery.
What You’ll Bring
* You must be committed to positively contributing to a safe, inclusive and high‑performance culture.
* Degree qualified (Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent).
* Ideally some formal project management training and/or associated project management qualification.
* Industry experience in Project & Portfolio Management, with leadership experience across multidisciplinary Chemicals/Oil & Gas projects.
* Operating site experience desirable, with strong process safety focus a must.
* Strong computer skills.
* SAP experience (preferred).
* Microsoft Project (preferred).
