SASH Adelaide has rapidly expanded, over the last 4 years. Since opening in 2021, the team has solidified a strong service offering across Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Surgery with Physio Therapy and Emergency with Critical Care. We have also grown to include Neurology and Neurosurgery, Oncology, Ophthalmology and onsite Radiology. We are also excited to be welcoming a Cardiologist in the coming months! Our Adelaide facility has been fitted with a purpose-built Emergency and ICU space, full service in‑house lab, Ultrasound, CT scanner, MRI, digital radiography, EMG / EEG, three well‑equipped surgical theatres including an interventional radiology space with C-arm and more.

The Anaesthetist Position We are now looking for an anaesthesia specialist to join our Adelaide based team. You’ll be supported by an experienced team of specialists, nurses and our rotating interns. The position will work closely with on‑site critical care specialists. You will work in a growing multidisciplinary hospital, drawing on the knowledge and experience provided through our extensive network of SASH specialists who will work with you to achieve the best results for our patients.
To be considered for this position, we are looking for :
A board‑certified anaesthetist with the American, European or Australian colleges (DACVAA, DECVAA, FANZCVS). Holding one of these qualifications means that regardless of where your undergraduate degree is from, you are eligible to work as a vet in South Australia.
Candidates who have completed an approved training programme in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia, who are yet to finalise exams are also strongly encouraged to apply.
