About the Role
JBS Pork Australia – Farming Team is currently recruiting a Piggery Attendant to support the team at our Victorian Contracting sites.
This full-time position will be responsible for undertaking animal husbandry and related tasks to assist in the care and well-being of Company livestock, along with basic maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Breed and raise stock
* Care and welfare of stock
* Update production records
* Basic cleaning and maintenance tasks
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience working with animals (preferred but not essential)
* Sound work ethic with high self-motivation
* Working knowledge of WHS and QA
* Preparedness to work some weekends and public holidays
* Fitness levels to cope with the physical nature of the role
* High commitment to Animal Welfare
