About the Role
A Casual Relief Teacher will enjoy the variety of each day being different; and will provide support across a range of subject areas. You will be welcomed into the College community and guided through established practices and expectations.
Responsibilities
* To provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children;
* To provide students with a rich and engaging educational experience;
* Deliver prepared lessons across Year 7 to 12 classes
* Support student learning and maintain positive classroom environments
* Follow established routines and school procedures
* Collaborate with teaching teams and school leadership
* Contribute to our caring, faith-centered school community
Qualifications
* Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission;
* Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration;
* Demonstrated high- level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning;
* Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment;
* Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable;
* Demonstrated ability to quickly build rapport with students and colleagues.
