You will work collaboratively across program streams and with stakeholders to deliver radio services and strategic advice for capability focused projects. This includes monitoring interdependences across multiple initiatives to facilitate the successful delivery and support of operational capability for a new integrated marine rescue service.
Your key accountabilities
**The core capability requirements for this role are**:
- Manage the delivery of high quality planning and installation services relevant to radio and data communications for MRQ facilities, vessels and vehicles. Provide expert planning and advice to clients, management and key stakeholders, to ensure the timely implementation of technology refresh and technology uplift activities. Prepare timely and well researched correspondence, briefings, reports and submissions to meet reporting requirements and to support decision making by clients and management. Undertake stakeholder engagement to build and maintain cooperative and trusting relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to the development and review of MRQ operational policy and systems, identify and implement problem solving. Provide supportive and responsive mentoring and leadership to team members.
Role Requirements
Mandatory
- Possession of Open 'C' Class Queensland Drivers Licence as this position requires extensive travel in Queensland.
Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience
- Experience in a similar role and industry is desirable.
Other
- Ability to travel intra-state in alignment with service requirements.
