- This opportunity is open to all current continuing fixed‑term and casual Deakin staff members only.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a high‑performing team fostering collaboration, professional growth and a positive work culture.
- Drive the Schools strategic and operational priorities including planning, governance and implementation of key initiatives.
- Oversee financial and human resource management including budgeting, workforce planning and recruitment activities.
- Contribute to academic and business development including course planning, marketing initiatives and external partnership engagement.
- Ensure compliance and risk management including WHS obligations, policy implementation and oversight of infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and / or education / training
- Experience managing and leading a team to successful outcomes.
- Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies and procedures.
