Role Overview
As a Health Care Worker in Blakiston Lodge you will provide high quality care and services to all residents within the Specialist Dementia Care Program (SDCP). You will provide transitional support and care for people living with very severe behavioural and psychological symptoms of Dementia, ensuring their safety, dignity, and wellbeing at every stage of care.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivery of care and services as outlined in the resident care plan that is consistent with relevant standards and legislation and within scope of practice
* Make adjustments to care delivery and care plan to reflect residents current care requirements
* Implement system changes that improve care and service delivery for all residents
What We're Looking For
* Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care
* Sound literacy and documentation skills
* Good communication skills
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Experience in aged care or inpatient care, especially caring for people living with dementia
* Able to undertake shift work as required
