An exciting opportunity exists for a Consultant Rehabilitation Physician to join a highly regarded multidisciplinary rehabilitation service within a major regional referral hospital in South‐West Victoria. The role offers a meaningful impact on patients recovering from complex illness and injury while enjoying an outstanding coastal lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist assessment and management of rehabilitation patients
* Lead multidisciplinary rehabilitation programmes
* Develop individualised rehabilitation goals and treatment plans
* Support patients recovering from stroke, neurological disorders, trauma, orthopaedic surgery and complex medical conditions
* Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and service development initiatives
* Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and allied health professionals
* Contribute to education, teaching and continuous professional development activities

Requirements
* Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
* Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FAFRM) or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
* Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for registration
* Commitment to multidisciplinary, patient‐centred rehabilitation care
* Strong communication and leadership skills
