THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Associate (or Paraplanner) to support a Senior Financial Planner in delivering tailored, client‐focused advice. This is a full‐time role with flexibility to work from home 3–4 days per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the Senior Financial Planner in servicing personal financial planning clients
* Attend client meetings, gather relevant information, and assist in the preparation of tailored advice
* Develop financial strategies and modelling, ensuring recommendations align with clients' objectives and personal goals
* Assist in the recommendation of lending products and preparation of client loan application documentation
* Coordinate and prepare pre‐meeting materials, and liaise with clients to schedule review appointments
* Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders to facilitate information collection and deliver a high standard of client service
* Work closely with the Client Service Manager to support the implementation of agreed financial strategies
* Prepare annual and half‐yearly wealth reports, along with other client review documentation as required
* Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives across the business
* Provide general administrative and client service support as required
ABOUT YOU
* 3+ years' experience in financial planning
* Qualified Financial Adviser or just about to start Professional Year
* Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail
* Permanent residency or unrestricted working rights in Australia
