Aurizon is seeking qualified Locomotive Drivers to join our Berrimah depot in Darwin.
Overview
As a Locomotive Driver with Aurizon - Bulk Central, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating locomotives, ensuring the smooth transport of freight across our extensive rail network. You will work within a supportive, safety-conscious team, striving for operational excellence and maintaining the highest service standards.

About the Role
* Operation of locomotives, including mainline, shunting, and marshalling.
* Examine and certify trains as ready for departure.
* Work in accordance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards and procedures.
* Maintain a high level of on-time running.
* Prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives.
* Provide high-quality customer service to enable Aurizon to meet its set business objectives.
About You
* Strong commitment to safety and Aurizon's safety strategy "I Know Safe, I Choose Safe."
* Availability to work a 24/7 shift roster.
* Experience working with ARTC Code of Practice & Safe Working systems (SA, WA) is advantageous.
* Experience operating air brake.
* Extensive freight and/or heavy haulage locomotive driving experience.
* A Certificate IV in Rail Operations.
* Current unrestricted driver's licence.
* Successful passage of pre-employment checks including driving history checks, reference checks, and a CAT 1 Rail medical.
