Salary: Level 5, $105,167 – $114,938 pa + Super – PSCSAA 2024

The Opportunity
As a Procurement Officer you will provide professional procurement advice to staff across the Department for all types of procurement including goods, services, community services and grants. You will work closely with stakeholders, Contract Managers and teams to ensure compliance with state and the Department of Communities policies, standards, processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Supporting business planning delivery, providing evidence‐based procurement advice and planning procurement activities to meet deadlines.
* Leading and supporting procurement processes, including tendering, contract development, negotiations and stakeholder engagement.
* Offering guidance on procurement, contracts, grants, extensions and variations.
* Contributing to policy and process improvements, and maintaining accurate procurement and contract records in relevant systems.
* Preparing reports, briefings and ministerial responses, while actively supporting organisational change.
