About The Role
We're seeking an experienced HME Improvement Engineer (Reliability) to support a mining operation focused on extending the service life of its mobile fleet. This short‐term contract may extend, where you'll identify improvement opportunities, drive reliability initiatives, and support maintenance optimisation across heavy mobile equipment. The role is based in the Mandurah area and requires daily travel to site; no camp accommodation is provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse fleet performance and identify reliability improvement opportunities
* Support maintenance strategies to extend the service life of mobile assets
* Work across trucks, loaders, drills, and auxiliary fleet
* Review failure data and implement corrective actions
* Collaborate with maintenance and planning teams to optimise asset performance
* Provide technical input into maintenance and improvement initiatives
* Utilise SAP systems for data analysis and work management support

About You
* Proven experience in reliability or improvement engineering within mining
* Strong exposure to HME including trucks, loaders, and drills
* Experience working with SAP‐based maintenance systems
* Ability to analyse data and implement practical improvement solutions
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Must be comfortable with daily travel (BIBO) to site
* Must have the right to work in Australia
