The Role
As the Senior Gardener - Handyperson, you will work to plan, coordinate and undertake grounds and garden maintenance programs. You will provide gardening, grounds and facility management to ensure a safe and clean school environment. You will maintain and present the school grounds and gardens in a clean and tidy condition and provide a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management.
Suitable applicants should have the demonstrated ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance, maintain turf areas utilising commercial mowing equipment, maintain irrigation systems, line mark formal and informal sporting areas, supervise tasks performed by the Assistant Gardener – Handyperson/s and manage staff performance as required in accordance with the Public Sector Performance Management Standard and Departmental policy, in consultation with the Manager Corporates Services.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
