About The Position
We're looking for an experienced Claims & Rehabilitation Advisor to manage injuries and support workers' compensation claims across our Queensland and northern New South Wales portfolio. In this role, you will support an experienced self‐insurance team across our Queensland portfolio, to actively drive recovery from work‐related injuries. Pro‐active involvement, effective and compassionate communication skills and absolute belief in the Health Benefits of Good Work are integral to the role. Reporting to the Injury Management Team Leader, you will join an established nationwide workers' compensation and safety & wellbeing team with exposure to multiple jurisdictions and support from a range of subject matter experts.
Key Activities
Pro‐actively co‐coordinate injury management and return‐to‐work programmes that are tailored, effective, and empowering. Work closely with employees, managers, GPs, and treatment providers to ensure a smooth and supportive recovery experience. Implement best practice injury management strategies to drive positive outcomes and successful recovery from injury in a timely manner. Support the claims process with our self‐insured team in QLD and EML in NSW, ensuring timely notification, clear communication, and goal‐oriented teamwork. Provide expert guidance to staff and leaders on legislative requirements, industry updates and best practices. Commit to excellent standard of documentation and data entry to meet regulator and compliance expectations. Drive continuous improvement in our claims and rehabilitation approach, helping us evolve and enhance our support systems. Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote injury prevention, wellbeing and proactive injury management.
About You
Return to Work Coordinator Certification or equivalent qualification/experience. Experience providing advice in workers' compensation and injury rehabilitation/case management. Understanding and demonstrated application of legislation for claims and rehabilitation management in Qld. High level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build constructive and effective relationships. Ability to effectively liaise with and influence stakeholders across all levels of Bolton Clarke. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
