Must Have Skills: Requirement analysis and problem solving Stakeholder management and communication Risk management Collaboration Detailed Job Description: The Enterprise Records Management and Privacy (ERMP) Program is a critical, Group wide initiative designed to materially reduce Westpac’s records management, privacy, and data protection risk, and to deliver the mandated Return to Medium (RTM) outcomes aligned to the Board approved Risk Appetite Statement. The program spans structured and unstructured data environments, including core applications, document repositories, data warehouses, physical records, and third party arrangements, and focuses on the uplift of controls, automation of retention and disposal, and the consistent application of enterprise policies and standards. This Senior Technical Business/Data Analyst role is a key delivery role within the programs Enterprise Capability, Design and Implementation stream focussing on building sustainable enterprise controls across unstructured data environments. It contributes to the PI Data Inventory (PIDI) strategy by improving visibility of high risk personal and sensitive information, and supports the design and rollout of monitoring, scanning and prioritisation capabilities across shared drives, SharePoint, OneDrive and email. The role also enables system led and repeatable disposal of over retained information. Requirements Key Responsibilities & Requirements: • Define, document and manage business rules, functional and non functional requirements, and data requirements (including large unstructured datasets) across the delivery lifecycle to meet business needs. Maintain process models, customer journeys, policy artefacts, and business and technology readiness documentation in line with Westpac Transformation Delivery standards. • Translate regulatory obligations and risk measures into clear operational and technical delivery requirements, and perform gap analysis against existing and new technology platforms to inform solution design and prioritisation. • Demonstrate proven experience in the end to end implementation of new technical capabilities for data driven regulatory or risk initiatives within a banking environment. • Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal Technology and Platforms teams to enable successful delivery outcomes. • Coordinate the development of delivery and handover artefacts, including Technical Support Handbooks, and manage transition activities with BAU teams, Service Operations Management (SOM), and Application Support Management (ASM).
