Remote Area Nurse - Western Australia About the Role Medacs Healthcare is seeking skilled and committed Remote Area Nurses to deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services across Western Australia's remote and regional communities. These contracts offer the opportunity to work autonomously across diverse clinical environments-responding to emergency presentations, managing chronic disease, and supporting community‑based health initiatives. We offer 6-12 week locum contracts supporting primary healthcare teams in remote community clinics. Various Locations | Flexible Contract Dates Available What You'll Need Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration * Minimum 5 years' RN experience in Australia, including emergency care experience and confidence working on‑call * Manual driver's licence * Immunisation Provider * Basic Life Support (BLS) Current or working towards: * Advanced Life Support (ALS) * Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) * Remote Emergency Care (REC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) * Maternity Emergency Care (MEC) * Pharmacotherapeutics Highly desirable: * Post‑graduate qualifications * Experience in Australian primary healthcare, remote clinics, or rural emergency settings About Medacs Healthcare Medacs Healthcare is a trusted provider of remote and regional nursing placements across Australia.
