About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic team in a full time capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse client base while making a meaningful impact on health outcomes within the community.
You will work across a range of clinical areas including Medicare, DVA, Workers Compensation, NDIS and private clients, delivering tailored exercise and rehabilitation programs that support long term health and wellbeing. Potential over time to travel to remote communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive client assessments and goal setting
* Design and deliver evidence based exercise and rehabilitation programs
* Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
* Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation consultants and other stakeholders
* Educate clients on the benefits of exercise and movement based rehabilitation
* Maintain accurate clinical notes and prepare professional reports
* Facilitate specialised group exercise classes including Osteoporosis and Post Natal programs
About You
* ESSA accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist with a minimum of 2 years experience
* Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
* Experience working with a variety of funding schemes including Medicare, DVA, NDIS or Workers Compensation (desirable)
* A passion for helping people improve their health and wellbeing through exercise
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
