Load Attacher/Safety Coordinator Job Description
This role involves safely managing lifting operations, ensuring equipment is in good working order and that operators are aware of their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely attach and detach loads from lifting equipment
* Conduct regular checks on relevant equipment to ensure it is safe to use
* Direct the movement of equipment and load using radio or hand signals
* Follow established lifting plans and report any concerns to the Crane Supervisor
* Ensure all personnel involved in lifting operations understand their roles and responsibilities
* Maintain a safe working environment by following Health and Safety procedures
Requirements:
* Significant experience as a Load Attacher/Safety Coordinator
* Relevant qualifications such as Blue CPCS A40 and Tunnel Entry & Emergency Procedures training
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Good communication skills
