Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support the development and implementation of our Safety, Health & Well-being (SH&W) system. As a Safety Advisor, you will promote safety values and implement policies and systems to embed safety into our culture and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development of SH&W initiatives and provide technical support to ensure safe workplace behaviours.
* Promote safety values and implement policies and systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Deliver effective risk management processes to identify, assess, and control SH&W risks.
* Provide timely and accurate safety performance data to stakeholders, including supporting external benchmarking activities.
* Implement and maintain Safety, Well-being and Environment programs, systems, tools, and training.
Requirements:
* Aptitude to grow a working knowledge of safety legislation, codes of practice, and standards.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, internally and externally.
* Consultative and innovative approach to deliver best practice outcomes.
* Incident Investigation experience – ICAM or equivalent.
* Ability to manage change and deliver risk assessments.
