About The Role
Reporting to the A Shift Electrical Supervisor North Yard, you will be responsible for the development, execution and closeout of improvement projects on electrical fixed plant equipment, processes and documentation.
Your Duties Will Include
* Contributing to our safety and continuous improvement culture, BHP Operating Systems (BOS), by demonstrating a commitment to high standards of execution within your trade
* Maintain a high-level working knowledge of safety processes
* Inspection, servicing, adjustment, troubleshooting and repair of all plant and infrastructure equipment
* Have a sound understanding of maintenance management standards
* Work effectively with other maintenance and production team members, including contractors
* Proficiency with computer‐based planning systems, ideally 1SAP & Fiori
* Ensure that all documentation and data entry is accurately completed
* Ensure adequate application of corrective work to facilitate the Planning Process
* Monitoring of asset integrity and compliance to statutory maintenance & inspection requirements
About You
* Australia recognised Electrical Licence
* Current Australian driver's licence
* Well-developed understanding of the operation and maintenance of Fixed Plant equipment
* Experience working in Iron Ore Processing Plant is highly desirable
* Ability to work well within a team to achieve outcomes
* Motivated who can work with minimal supervision
