About the Role
As a People Risk Consultant, you will provide strategic advice and specialist support to clients in the management of workers' compensation claims.
Deliver clear and accurate legislative advice related to ongoing claims, conciliation processes, and court‐based matters.
Engage with customers and respond to claims enquiries.
Listen attentively to customer needs and provide consistent client service.
Demonstrate problem‐solving skills while identifying and managing recovery opportunities.
Follow up and provide updates as required under the General Insurance Code of Practice.

Responsibilities
* Provide strategic advice and specialist support for workers' compensation claims management.
* Deliver accurate legislative advice related to ongoing claims, conciliation processes, and court‐based matters.
* Engage with customers and respond to claims enquiries.
* Listen attentively to customer needs and provide consistent client service.
* Identify and manage recovery opportunities through problem‐solving skills.
* Follow up and update clients as required under the General Insurance Code of Practice.
* Contribute to the company's high‐performance culture.
About You
* Recent experience (within the last 2 years) in managing and negotiating complex, high‐value workers' compensation claims.
* Understanding of insurance legislation and Code of Practice.
* Ability to connect with people and build trust.
* Ability to provide support to senior leadership in identifying and resolving issues.
* Strong knowledge of workers' compensation legislation, claims management, and dispute resolution.
* Sound computer skills, confident communication skills, teamwork and strong documentation skills.
