Salesforce Solution Designer
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and clarify requirements, translating them into effective Salesforce solution designs.
* Draft and review solution proposals for Salesforce features and reports, ensuring alignment with business objectives and data governance standards.
* Define and design solutions that provide meaningful insights and actionable recommendations, supporting data-driven decision-making.
* Drive consistency, reusability, and optimisation of components across Salesforce objects, processes, and reports.
* Conduct assurance reviews of functional and technical designs, ensuring adherence to best practice, accessibility, and compliance requirements.
* Work closely with internal teams, including UX, to design wireframes and ensure accessibility best practices are met.
* Communicate technical and non-technical insights effectively to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.
* Identify areas for improvement in existing designs and recommend innovative approaches for optimisation.
* Support data mapping, data modelling, and ETL processes to ensure robust and scalable Salesforce solutions.
* Provide assurance oversight during solution build, testing, and deployment phases, ensuring quality and compliance at every stage.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of design assurance frameworks and templates.
Required Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated experience in Salesforce solution design, with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data visualisation principles.
* Proven ability to conduct assurance reviews and provide constructive feedback to design and delivery teams.
* Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL, and performance optimisation within Salesforce environments.
* Experience working with business analysts and stakeholders to define and design solutions based on requirements.
* Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices in digital solution design.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Initiative, self-motivation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions.
* Experience with assurance frameworks, governance processes, and continuous improvement in a digital transformation context.
Desirable Skills
* Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder).
* Experience in the aged care, health, or government sectors.
* Familiarity with SFIA levels 4/5 or higher for technical leadership and assurance roles.
