Urban Development Project Lead
Stantec is seeking an experienced project lead to join our Canberra team and drive the delivery of innovative, sustainable, and community-focused civil engineering solutions in urban development projects. The primary purpose of this role is to lead project design teams and ensure all design documentation meets statutory standards and client requirements. The successful candidate will oversee drafting and design outputs to maintain high technical quality and commercial viability, build strong relationships with clients, manage project scope changes, and contribute to ongoing business development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, minimum 8 years of experience in consulting field, and recognised as a Principal Engineer in their current role. They will also possess professional engineering registration, strong technical expertise, and ability to produce accurate design documentation, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
