Cloud Native Site Reliability Engineer Role
Our team is looking for a highly skilled Cloud Native Site Reliability Engineer to join our organization. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native systems.
In this role, you will work closely with our development teams to ensure the smooth operation of our cloud-based services. You will employ strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues in complex distributed systems. Additionally, you will collaborate with our engineering organization to adopt new and improved architectural patterns, providing expert guidance on cloud-native site reliability best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement cloud-native systems that are scalable, secure, and reliable.
* Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth operation of cloud-based services.
* Employ strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues in complex distributed systems.
* Collaborate with the engineering organization to adopt new and improved architectural patterns.
* Provide expert guidance on cloud-native site reliability best practices.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in cloud computing and site reliability engineering.
* Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar.
* Experience operating in Kubernetes environments like AKS, EKS, or similar.
* Proficiency in managed languages such as Python, Go, C#, Java, or similar.
* Experience using CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning, software builds, tests, and releases.
* Knowledge of observability tools such as APM, logging, and metrics to assist with debugging issues.
* Familiarity with building flexible and testable Infrastructure as Code modules.
* Australian government security clearance or ability to obtain clearance (AUS citizenship) required.
