What you'll be doing
This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Australia's largest health system by joining the statewide NSW Health Deployment Program in the Central Resource Unit (CRU). We are looking for a Senior Podiatrist, this position is responsible for providing quality specialised clinical services to a complex caseload involving clients with diabetes and high risk feet (for example diabetes or vascular conditions). This includes those with ulceration, infection, neuro-arthropathy and amputation. The complexity of these clients requires clinical expertise, knowledge and advanced reasoning and practice skills. This position will provide direction to administrative staff, other clinicians, and students.
Where you'll be working
The Podiatrist Worker workforce will be deployed to locations across NSW Health from anywhere between two to 13 weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the flexibility to work for short periods of time, with the opportunity to stay longer and work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

Targeted Questions:
Current general Podiatry registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)
Provide examples of your ability to provide in-depth advice and education to enhance service delivery and to guide and support others in providing service excellence.
Give examples of your experience in the provision of clinical supervision and mentoring of staff and/or students.
Tell us about your experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team, to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations.
Current drivers' licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional/remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
