Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Telesales Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving market share growth by identifying high-intent opportunities, engaging SMB decision-makers through modern outreach channels, and delivering tailored solutions that solve real business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
* Proactively engage SMB prospects through multi-channel outreach including LinkedIn, personalized video messaging, focusing on strategic outbound calling, and AI-assisted email sequencing.
* Identify and qualify new business opportunities via Outbound Cold Calling & Teams Meetings, understand customer needs, position Vodafone Business solutions effectively, and closing the sale.
* Capture enriched customer data (decision-maker details, current provider, contract dates, intent signals, marketing consent).
* Collaborate with Team Leaders, Marketing, and Account Managers to ensure continual build of pipeline and progression of opportunities. Maintaining accurate records of calls, interactions, and outcomes in CRM systems.
* Collaborate with marketing to co-create and execute targeted campaigns, including webinars, digital events, and content-led engagement.
Requirements
* Proven experience in acquisition-based B2B sales roles, with a strong track record of delivering results and meeting or exceeding targets.
* 2–4 years of experience in business development sales, ideally telesales (telecommunications or tech preferred).
* Strong communication skills, resilience, and a passion for engaging SMB decision-makers.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Understanding of SMB buying behaviors in Australia including budget cycles and procurement processes.
Preferred Skills
* Ability to interpret intent signals and behavioral data to personalize outreach.
* Familiarity with virtual selling environments including video calls and asynchronous communication.
* Comfortable working with targets and KPIs.
* Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
* A team player with a growth mindset and a passion for customer success.
