Mornington, Frankston and Langwarrin - Perm PT reliever (20 hours per week)
W1 Mon to fri 7am - 11am
W2 Sat 8am -12pm Mon, Tues, Thu and fri 7am - 11am
Peninsula Private Hospital Langwarrin - Perm PT (26.5 hours per week)
W1 Sat 8am -12pm, Mon Tues 8am - 6pm, Fri 8am - 1pm
Mornington Peninsula - Perm PT (25.5 hours per week)
W1 Tues 1pm - 9pm, Wed 7.5 hours relieving, Thurs 7am - 11am, Fri 1pm - 9pm

Requirements

* Hospital experience preferred or at least 1‐2 years experience
* Cert III required

What You Will Be Doing

As a Hospital Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist) you will report to the Hospital Collector Lead and work in a team across all wards including Paediatrics, Medical, ICU, CCU, Emergency, Oncology, Special Care Nursery, Maternity and Rehabilitation, using your empathy and drive to deliver outstanding customer service and quality healthcare.

* Liaising & building effective relationships with doctors, nurses and patients
* Advanced Pathology Collection – collecting samples across wards and areas including Paediatrics, difficult bleeds and AGB's with care and attention
* Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample

Attributes & Skills

* Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy with a Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a nursing background
* Excellent liaison and communication skills, with a high level of empathy & a patient‐centred approach
* Organised with high attention to detail
* Hold a working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain one
* Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work
* A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required for this role
* You must either hold an existing WWCC or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing employment
