Engineering Manager - Western Sydney
D&B have partnered with a leading National Subcontractor who are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their growing team in NSW.
Our client has experienced significant growth nationally over the last 12 months and this is an exciting time to join the business.
The role is responsible for the operations of the Norwest Plant but is closely engaged with the wider National Business.
Responsibilities Of The Role Include
* Managing a team of engineers and drafters (10+)
* leading projects from tender to completion
* Business Development of project opportunities
* Optimising production and labour across the operation
* Communicating with a range of clients, subcontractors, suppliers, the public and the workforce
* Communicating with all the Group businesses to explore, analyse and implement efficiencies across the brand
* Resolution of RFIs and EOTs and organizing variations
* Ensure all operational activities are conducted in a manner that upholds and enhances the reputation of business and safety culture
* Ensure that all WHS Policies and Procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
* Maintain and implement an operational strategy that ensures that product manufacture and construction are delivered in accordance with agreed budgets and forecasts
* To work with integrity and cooperation with others toward achieving a common goal through teamwork
To be considered for the role
* Precast Concrete experience
* Have a background in Construction, Civil Engineering, Mining or Manufacturing
* Operated at an Engineering Manager / Senior Level previously
* Leadership experience
* Tertiary Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering Qualification
* Strong written and verbal communications
* Extensive leadership experience and proven financial acumen
* Computer literate in office applications
