Contract - Generative AI Knowledge Engineer

Your new role
* Drive the transformation of the ServiceNow knowledge base by making content easier for AI systems to understand and use.
* Locate and prioritise gaps and inaccuracies across the knowledge estate using AI-driven discovery techniques.
* Architect and build automated pipelines that draft, tag, classify, and publish knowledge artifacts while preserving governance standards.
* Create human-in-the-loop workflows where generative models produce initial article drafts and experts validate final outputs.
* Integrate and tune enterprise generative-AI tooling and chatbot platforms to lift search relevance, increase self-service success, and improve conversational answers.
* Replace repetitive manual steps in the current knowledge suite by designing ServiceNow-based automation and API-driven processes.
What you'll need to succeed
* Hands-on experience implementing and operating ServiceNow Knowledge Management and workflow objects.
* Practical AI development experience on major cloud stacks and familiarity with generative model deployment and tuning.
* Strong background in natural language processing, prompt engineering, and LLM-driven knowledge solutions.
* Proven ability to design and deliver automation using workflow tools and API integrations.
* Solid software engineering skills with experience in production-grade implementations.
* Knowledge of enterprise search, semantic retrieval, and retrieval-augmented generation approaches.
* Programming capability in Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript for integrations and automation tasks.
* Demonstrated commitment to ethical AI practices, responsible data handling, and high standards for content accuracy.
* Previous delivery of knowledge management or AI-driven initiatives within large organisations.
