Salary
Remuneration package valued up to $156,253.00. Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00 plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Provide instruction in music for students Years 7‐12, manage ensembles, bands, choirs and other performance groups, encourage participation and achievement across a range of skill levels, and create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
* Approval to teach Music (7‐12) with the NSW Department of Education.
* Proven expertise in creating a positive learning environment through organising, directing and supporting music ensembles, bands, choirs or other performance groups.
* Proficient in planning, implementing, and assessing engaging and comprehensive music programs (7‐12) that cater to a diverse range of students, including Aboriginal students.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
