Overview
the opportunity is a hands-on role working on technically challenging systems with a focus on long-term stability and skill development in a structured environment. youind opportunities to build expertise in specialised electrical work, with support to obtain your eeha qualification, opening the door to hazardous area capabilities if you dont already have them.
reporting to the maintenance supervisor, your primary focus will be diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining our critical assets and equipment, such as fuel storage and fuel transfer systems.
hours: 38-hour work week in a blue-collar role supporting a strong work-life balance. monday- thursday: 6:30am – 3pm; friday 6:30am – 1pm (early finish on a Friday).
there is also the option to travel for a week each month to places like Katherine, where youll work 12-hour days with overtime (time and a half for the first 2 hours, then double time).
Responsibilities
* diagnose, service, repair, and maintain critical assets and equipment including fuel storage and fuel transfer systems
* work in a hands-on maintenance role in fixed plant environments
* participate in travel rotations as required
Qualifications & Requirements
* e&i certification and a-grade electrical licence
* eeha certified (desirable)
* proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance (fuel services or oil & gas preferred)
* confined space and working at heights tickets (preferred)
* australian citizenship and ability to pass a police check
