Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Easily accessible to Sydney residents, our team of clinicians, allied health, and support staff works with the community on a shared goal to maintain the delivery of high‐quality healthcare in the Blue Mountains region.

Join our team as a Clinical Support Officer (CSO) and play a vital role in supporting high‐quality patient care. Based within a ward or unit, the CSO works closely with nurses, medical and allied health staff to ensure smooth day‐to‐day operations. This dynamic role offers flexibility, with shift times tailored to meet patient and service needs and may involve working across multiple wards or areas within the health facility.

Collaborating with ward clerks and communication officers, you will provide accurate and timely administrative and transactional support under the guidance of the Nurse/Unit Manager. While working with broad supervision, you'll have the opportunity to demonstrate initiative and independence while contributing to established systems and processes that enhance team efficiency and patient outcomes.

What you will bring to the role
* Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent or relevant work experience
* Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels
* Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheet and database software
* Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment
* Current Drivers Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
