My client is embarking on a major ERP transformation program and is seeking a Data Lead to play a critical role in shaping the future of their data foundations.
This is a career-defining chance to provide leadership, governance, and direction across one of the most significant transformation initiatives in our organisation.
What you'll do
- Provide data leadership across the ERP transformation, ensuring data is fit-for-purpose, governed, and aligned with target-state architecture.
- Shape RFP data requirements and integration considerations to inform proposals from partners.
- Conduct data readiness assessments, reviewing definitions, ownership, quality, and governance gaps across finance, HR, procurement, and other ERP-relevant domains.
- Develop a data readiness roadmap, outlining cleansing, enrichment, and validation activities before design begins.
- Partner with Technology and Enterprise Architecture teams to define future-state data architecture principles.
- Lead design of target-state data models, hierarchies, and master data governance with SI partners and business leads.
- Advise on integration mapping between Oracle Fusion and connected applications to ensure integrity and auditability.
- Define and oversee the data migration strategy, including sequencing, cutover approach, and documentation.
- Oversee data build, migration execution, and testing, ensuring quality and readiness for go-live.
- Establish a data governance model, including global data standards, business rules, and post go-live processes.
About you
We're looking for a leader with:
- Proven experience in data leadership roles within large-scale ERP transformations (Oracle Fusion experience highly desirable).
- Strong expertise in data governance, migration, integration, and quality assurance.
- The ability to work across business and technology teams, translating complex requirements into practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence to engage senior stakeholders and external partners.
