Description
* Prepare and manage financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
* Handle budgeting and forecasting for property portfolios.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
* Reconcile financial records and maintain accurate documentation.
* Collaborate with property managers to optimise financial performance.
* Assist in the preparation of audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
* Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial efficiency.
* Support ad hoc financial projects and analyses.
Profile
A successful Property Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional accreditation such as CPA or CA (or working towards).
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Experience in the property industry or a similar sector.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
